The Charcoal & Lavender bar is all natural, vegan, and palm oil free. This bar is hard to resist. It smells like a crisp, fresh mountain breeze, has the added skin benefits of activated charcoal, and full of skin-loving oils and butters.
Essential Oils
The essential oil blend is made up of lavender, juniper, and patchouli essential oils. It gives it a very clean, calming, and refreshing scent.

Tips for Using All Natural Handmade Soap
Always store your soap in a draining dish.
Never allow your soap to sit in water or on a surface that air can't get underneath it.
Allow soap to dry completely between uses. This will help extend the life of your soap.
About Our Soap
Butter Tree is a handmade soap company based in Central Pennsylvania. Here we make all of our soap by hand, in small batches, using the cold process method. Everything is made from scratch and with only all natural ingredients. You will never find added chemicals, fragrances, or chemical colorants. All scents come from essential oils and all colors come from clay or plants.
Natural Ingredients
All soaps are made by hand using the traditional cold process method. Only all natural ingredients are used.
These products do not contain fragrances or artificial colorants. The soaps are either unscented or scented with pure essential oils. All colors are from natural clay or plant-based colorants.
This product is for external use only.
Always discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Soap Bar Size
Each bar weights approximately 5 ounces. Due to the handmade nature of this soap, sizes, colors, and designs can vary slightly from bar to bar. Even with variation of designs, the ingredients in the soap are all the same as what is listed.
The bars are cut to be 3.5" w x 2.5" h x 1.125" d
As an athlete, I use a ton of sunscreen and sweat a lot, leaving me extra prone to facial acne. This combination of lavender and charcoal has been game changing for my skin. It strips away the dirt, road grime, sunscreen, and sweat after my workouts, but leaves all of my healthy, natural skin oils. Between the gentle cleansing power and the added skin benefits of the soap itself, my skin has stayed smooth and vibrant despite the summertime wear and tear. This is my go-to post-workout soap and I recommend it to any athlete or outdoorsy person who struggles with acne but doesn’t want the harsh chemicals that so many other brands have. It smells great and lasts long, too.
This soap combines two of my favorite things: charcoal and lavender. For years I used a name brand charcoal soap that was discontinued a few years ago and was unable to find anything that compared until the Butter Tree charcoal & lavender bar. Not only is it my favorite of all of the soap bar options, it’s my go-to recommendation or gift for those new to Butter Tree. My skin has never been better. I use less moisturizers, feel cleaner, and overall just a better experience than commercial products. This bar and Butter Tree are a 10/10 and would rank them higher than 5 stars if I could.
